Monk Character Concept and Model

Character concept and model for a Buddhist Monk who was to be an animated character in and Buddhist Monastery environment created by a peer. I found inspiration and references from many different cultures that follow Buddhism.

I used Marvelous Designer for the clothes and modelled the rest of the figure in Zbrush. Textured in Substance Painter. Final pose and render in Unreal Engine.

“Chanda” Character Design

Character Design based off of Indian culture and the Hindi Festival Of Colour, “Holi”. I created her character for a hypothetical game that pulls inspirations from around the world. Chanda is one of two characters I have created so far in this game concept.

Chanda is a fighter-type character. She uses her staff as a weapon and colourful Holi powders as a distraction.

A character based on traditional first-century Chinese clothing. Daiyu is the second character of my hypothetical game that pulls inspiration from world cultures.

Daiyu is an assassin/rogue-type character. She hides daggers in her voluminous sleeves and uses the fabric of her clothing to disarm and distract.
